Raven's place kicker, Matt Stover, recently sent an e-mail to player reps from around the league in an effort to campaign for the end of Gene Upshaw's term as the leader of the NFL player union. The Sports Business Daily analyzed what fans were saying about Stover's e-mail. They found that 59% of of bloggers around the country approve of Stover's message.
This is another example of the influence of the Baltimore Ravens. Matt Stover stepped up to the plate and hit a home run that will hopefully lead to end of Gene Upshaw's influence.
