Validation

Yes it happened. No you aren't dreaming. The Giants took down the almighty Patriots with a 17-14 nail-biter victory. I may have misjudged the score, but my prediction that the Giants would win has come to fruition. All the Massholes laughing about the idea that the Giants could win have been silent for the last 12 hours. There were several striking story lines:

1. Eli Manning- Validated. Reporters and fans have come down on Eli for the last 3 years. His slack jawed slurry speech may not impress, but his play has. Aside from an errant throw that should have been intercepted by Asante Samuel he played really well.

2. David Tyree- Spot in the Sun. I don't know if he will go on to have a brilliant offensive career, although I'm sure he will continue to impress on special teams. Either way, Tyree made one of the most amazing plays in Super Bowl history and will be remembered for it.

3. Tom Brady- Looked Terrible. His passes sailed on receivers, he couldn't get rid of the ball quickly enough, he looked like David Carr. Traditional media should be getting on him about this. Brady doesn't deserve a get out a jail free card.

4. Bill Belichick- Jerk. He should not be remembered as one of the best coaches in history when he cheats to win and walks off the field while is team is forced to stay on and finish the final second of the game. Classless.

5. Giants Front Line- Brilliant. Justin Tuck, Osi Umenyiora, and Michael Strahan couldn't have played any better. That unit single-handedly won the game for the Giants.

All things said, that was one of the best Super Bowls that has ever been or ever will be played.
